Dingle Kerry to Tralee Cycle Directions
0 to 10km
Facing out to the marina, turn left and go straight through the roundabout you reach after a few metres. This brings you up a street to a narrow t-junction, where you turn left and then immediately right (you almost go straight), following the sign for Connor Pass.
You leave the village and the long climb starts straight away. There are great views [5km marker] all the way up.
10 – 20km
Descend the other side of the pass with great views of Mount Brandon on your left. Take the first left, down a 2-lane road. Soon you take the first right down a narrow road, and go straight through a crossroads. Turn right when you reach a t-junction at a bend [15km marker].
Stay on this road as it winds around the coast and returns to the main road, where you turn left at the t-junction.
20 – 30km
Stay on the main road all the way. When you reach Farrantooleen you will see Tomasins Bar on your right.
Keep straight [25km marker].
30 – 40km
Eventually you enter the townland of Camp. Shortly after passing the sign for it there is a crossroads. Camp Cross is a short way down the right turn, with a shop and pub. Otherwise continue straight. 900m later the road is joined from the right by the N86.
Keep straight on [35km marker] – you are now on the N86.
40 – 50km
10.8km later the road bends left [45km marker] after a 5.6km straight. The road leads into Blennerville. At the first crossroads you can see Blennerville Windmill a short distance to your left.
Instead of turning left for the windmill, turn right down the narrow road. This quickly takes you into the countryside, running alongside disused railway tracks. At the first crossroads you reach, turn left, and this will bring you to a roundabout on the edge of Tralee. Go straight through.
At the end of this road keep straight on the road to the left of the statue. Turn right at the roundabout you reach and go straight through the next roundabout. The train station is just ahead.
