Mulranny is the start point for this adventure on Achill Island – famous for its beauty. Cycle out to Achill Sound and then enjoy the breathtaking Atlantic Drive scenic route.

For those who have the energy, the climb to Menaun offers one of the most spectacular views in the region. Then you reach Dooagh before a short trip out along a road high above the sea to Keem Beach and back again.

Mulranny lies on the Great Western Greenway bicycle path, and you will usually find cyclists there. This route forms part of a 2-day ride along with Dooagh to Mulranny exploring Achill Island.

Achill Secret Garden is a 3-acre sensory garden.

You can get a ferry out to the spectacular Clare Island.

The route goes along the popular Atlantic Drive scenic route past Ashleam Bay – one of the highlights of the island.

Menaun Mountain has a road to its tv mast. Knuckle down and ride up for some amazing views over the island.

Keem beach is a secluded beach at the end of a nice clifftop road.

The Deserted Village is a short way off the main route.

Keel Beach is at the foot of Menaun Mountain and is close to the route you take.
