Cycling from Swanlinbar to Enniskillen

This ride is part of the Mizen to Malin Cycle. Most of it is on quiet backroads while taking a very direct route to Enniskillen.

While not spectacular, parts of it are quite scenic, particularly as you near Enniskillen.

Enniskillen to Malin Head Cycle

The road over the hills to Carndonagh

From Enniskillen you ride north across small hills and countryside that grows ever more scenic.

You pass the Grianan of Aileach above Derry City and have a climb in the centre of the Inishowen Peninsula that gets you off the main road before the last leg to Malin Head.

Cycle Sligo to Enniskillen

The Cliffs of Annacoona on the Gleniff Horseshoe

Cycle Sligo – this amazing ride takes you north past the beautiful Dartry Mountains. The Gleniff Horseshoe is optional but probably the highlight of the trip.

You visit Creevykeel Court Tomb before you continue west over a low mountain pass and then on to Lough Navar Forest with its famous viewpoint over Lough Erne.

Cycle Enniskillen to Derry

The Foyle Valley bicycle path

This tour passes the remarkable Devenish Island before heading through quiet countryside to Omagh.

The lovely Gortin Glen section takes you near the Sperrin Mountains before passing through Strabane and cycling the beautiful Foyle Valley and entering the walled city of Derry on a bike path.
