Healy Pass Cycle Loop

The north side of the Healy Pass

This fantastic loop takes you through the beautiful Beara Peninsula and over our favourite cycling road in Ireland – The Healy Pass.

It combines a gentle gradient with twisting hairpins and extraordinary views. This will be a day on the bike that you won’t forget in a hurry.

Glengarriff to Killarney Cycle

The road to Adrigole

This fantastic cycle trip starts in the lovely town of Glengerriff passes over the remarkable Healy Pass in the Beara Peninsula before going through Kenmare. Then you go north past Moll’s Gap and through the popular Gap of Dunloe before a short run-in to Killarney.

There is an optional detour through the beautiful Inchiquin Valley.

Ballyvourney to Glengarriff Cycle

The Priest's Leap

An extraordinary ride over 4 mountain passes straddling the Cork-Kerry border, with an optional fifth climb to a remote lake at the end if you have the legs.

This is a beautiful part of the country. You finish in the picturesque coastal town of Glengariff.

Climbing: 1400m
Difficulty: very hard

Kenmare to Castletownbere Cycle

The Healy Pass

This ride from the lovely town of Kenmare takes you through the beautiful and remote Beara Peninsula. There are two climbs on the way, but rarely has it been so worth the effort.

You start with some easy riding along backroads before you climb the gentle Caha Pass. This offers fantastic views north and south before you descend to Glengarriff.
