Slieve Gullion Cycle Loop

Carlingford Lough from Clermont Carn

This short but tough tour takes in fantastic views of Carlingford Lough before climbing to the highest point of the Cooley Peninsula. You then travel up and around the magnificent Slieve Gullion.

But its not over – there are still a couple of hills to cross on the way back to Newry.

Mourne Mountains Cycle Loop

This trip takes you through the outstanding scenery of the Mourne Mountains, with an optional but recommended 17km return trip to the Silent Valley.

You head east from Newry over rolling hills before beginning the long climb past the Spelga Dam. After a long descent from there you ride alongside Carlingford Lough to Rostrevor.
